2016-03-15 16.38.39

This chair had seen better days, . . . .and

2016-03-15 16.53.32

she wanted to pair it with this sofa, which also needed an update, . . .

2016-03-26 14.03.54

so white denim with classic welting and tailored skirt,

brought these two together.  I love it when you can re-use already loved pieces.

Plain Arm Chair Goes Modern

2016-01-20 11.46.13

This basic arm chair seemed a little Plain Jane, before we got our hands on it.

2016-01-20 13.22.54

This textured, modern upholstery fabric was just what it needed.

2016-01-20 13.22.32

The custom fit really shows off the great shape.

Wingback in Red

2016-01-13 11.15.34

This classic wingback and ottoman just needed a slight makeover.

2016-01-13 11.16.14

The custom fit really shows off the pretty curves of this chair.

2016-01-13 11.17.13

Piping and a tailored skirt with inverted pleats keeps it classic.

Elegant Update

2016-01-02 10.19.47

This chair had a really cute shape - but had become a little drab.

2016-01-06 14.03.00

Doesn't this fabric just make you happy?

2016-01-06 14.08.12

Small folds in the rolled arms . . . .

2016-01-06 14.08.50

and a short, flirty tailored skirt to show off those great legs!

A Softer Sectional

2015-06-30 16.45.14

This Thomasville sectional was still plenty comfortable, just needed some softening.

2015-06-30 17.04.28

Butter Yellow Denim is just the thing for this sectional with clean lines.

2015-06-12 19.02.04

She really loved the tufting on these pillow seat cushions, so we kept it.
A small update for a cottage inspired room.

Small Vintage Chairs get a Softer Look

2015-05-29 07.58.21

Bernadette acquired two of these little chairs for her shop at Boulevard Mercantile.
I love the character in this chair, but it definitely was ready for an update.

2015-05-29 08.02.24

The matelasse fabric came from some bedspreads she got at a garage sale.

2015-05-29 08.03.06

The roll back is a pleasant surprise on this piece.

2015-05-29 08.03.37

I love how her idea of using the scalloped edges of the quilt really set off this chair.
Soft, a little shabby chic, and a lot comfortable.

Bench Update

2015-05-20 13.21.24

Great bench, just needed a small update.

2015-05-22 12.48.32

2015-05-22 12.48.43

This bench has actually been reupholstered.  I love that she decided to add the nail heads again.  It definitely gives it more of a finished look.

Jessica found 2 Wing Backs and an ottoman for a great deal on Craig’s List.

She had a vision and it included Ikat.

Beautiful and Fresh.

From Classic to Modern in Linen

2015-02-09 10.07.56

Of course I took the photos after the skirt had been removed.
But, you get the idea . . . . .

2015-02-12 12.33.36

Grayline Linen in Oatmeal was just what this set needed.

2015-02-12 12.34.03

2015-02-12 12.48.09

Topstitching and Velcro make this set completely custom.

2015-02-12 12.33.22

Modern linen at its best.
