Mal’s Chair and Sofa

Sleeper Sofa

This sofa is a beast.  Literally.  It’s pretty much indestructible.  It just needs a little facelift.

I love the mattress ticking fabric she chose, and the clean lines of the back pillows.

Her cute pillows give it just the punch it needs.  Good job, Mal.

Again, good bones on this chair.  It had a mushroom back cushion that we weren’t super fond of.

I love the black denim fabric and silver top-stitching on this one.  We modernized the back cushion by squaring it off, and added a knife-edge pleat at the bottom.  The only regret we had with this one was that there was a little bit of stretch in the fabric, which causes the skirt to not hang as well.

The knife-edge pleat is my favorite.
